Practice & Delivery Leadership

• Lead the Oracle CloudOps practice: OCI and Oracle Fusion delivery for 15+ clients across implementation and managed-support engagements.
• Drive the practice operating model: Documentation & Tooling Management Standard, provisioning and reconciliation runbooks, RCA and handover documentation, Git-based CloudOps repository, FreshService ITSM and Smartsheet tracking.
• Own client-facing architecture reviews, security questionnaires and status/roadmap reporting.

Platform Architecture

• Build OCI landing zones across client tenancies to a standard best-practice blueprint: environment-first compartment hierarchy (prod/non-prod → app/db) or a flexible hierarchy based on client requirements; IAM, network and security baselines; codified in Terraform (HCL) and YAML and deployed through OCI Resource Manager, with reusable stacks for OIC Gen3 and ATP environments.
• Compute and storage: run workloads on flexible and Ampere A1 shapes with instance pools, autoscaling and fault-domain placement; Block, Object, File and Archive Storage with backup and lifecycle policies.
• Networking: hub-and-spoke VCNs with DRG, Site-to-Site IPSec VPN and FastConnect to on-prem; load balancers and NLBs, private DNS and traffic steering; routing troubleshooting with Network Command Center.
• Databases: administer Autonomous AI Database (serverless and dedicated) and Base Database Service; configure Autonomous Data Guard, cross-region DR, Recovery Service backups and Data Safe assessments.
• Provision and administer Oracle Fusion SaaS (ERP, WMS, FAW, EPM), OIC Gen3, Visual Builder Studio, APEX and ATP.

Security & Governance

• Identity and security: Identity Domains with SAML 2.0 SSO (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID) and SCIM user lifecycle; Vault and KMS, Certificates and Bastion; posture management with Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vulnerability Scanning and WAF.
• Architected API security for VBCS apps: API Gateway with JWT authorizer (IDCS JWKS) in front of ORDS on private-subnet ATP, OAuth 2.0 client credentials, and OCI Vault secrets read from PL/SQL via resource principals.
• Governance and FinOps: tag namespaces and cost-tracking tags, quota policies, budgets with alert rules, Cost Analysis reports, Resource Scheduler and Cloud Advisor across client tenancies; Terraform drift detection and reconciliation.

Operations, DevOps & DR

• Observability: Monitoring alarms, Notifications, Events and Connector Hub routing to email and Slack; Logging, Audit and Log Analytics; OS Management Hub patching.
• DevOps and cloud-native: Terraform and Resource Manager stacks, OCI DevOps pipelines, Container Instances, OCIR, Functions and API Gateway.
• DR and migration: Full Stack Disaster Recovery plans; Database Migration and ZDM for Oracle database moves.
• Architected OCI hosting for AskFAiS, an internal RAG-based AI assistant: container images built and pushed to a private OCI Container Registry (OCIR), run on Ampere A1 Container Instances behind a private load balancer, with registry access through a Service Gateway; deployed as a Resource Manager Terraform stack.

• On-prem → OCI EBS lift-and-shift (2022): upgraded Oracle EBS to R12.2.10 and Database to 19c, then migrated EBS to OCI with Oracle EBS Cloud Manager across TEST and PROD cycles.
• On-prem → OCI database migrations: moved an Oracle Database to OCI using OCI Storage Gateway; upgraded another to 19c with an Oracle Linux upgrade and migrated it to OCI (Jan 2021).
• Managed OCI infrastructure for multiple clients with Terraform, Resource Manager and OCI CLI.
• Built an IDCS password-expiry notification tool (REST APIs + Shell) with logging and Git-based deployment; automated Oracle SaaS/PaaS table operations with shell scripts.
• Delivered L2/L3 support for multiple clients across Database, EBS, WebLogic, OIC, ORDS and APEX; patching (ADOP, OPatch, WebLogic BSU) and cloning on-prem and on OCI.

Deputed to Raychem RPG, Mumbai (Dec 2016 – Sep 2019)

• Upgraded Oracle EBS R12.1.1 → R12.2.5 at Raychem RPG (Jan 2017); enabled online patching (ADOP) and built the fallback strategy.
• Automated test/dev cloning with Rapid Clone and a standby database: zero manual steps, clone time cut to 60 minutes including the dual file system.
• Ran EBS 12.2.5 disaster-recovery tests and HA/DR sync; built RMAN backup automation and integrated Tivoli for tape backups.
• Deployed Oracle EBS mobile apps (Approvals, Inventory, Procurement, Discrete Production Supervisor), configured Integrated SOA Gateway REST services and enabled TLS on EBS R12.2.
• Built an automated daily DBA health report for production covering space, AWR, CPU, backups, alert log, DR sync and workflow status (2016).
